Kittila Airport Released for X-Plane 11 as Freeware

Developer Fly X Simulation wrote to us to inform us that they have just released their next Christmas project for the year: Kittila. The Finish airport within the Arctic Circle is popular for passengers wishing to go and meet Santa. Frequented by multiple airlines over the Winter period, it’s an airport growing in popularity. You can now fly there yourself in X-Plane 11 thanks to this new scenery package.

The freeware package by Fly X Simulation contains 3D / PBR snow around the airport, accurate building structure and apron layout as well as Autogate marshals. Furthermore, the airport has been created with 4K textures throughout.

You can download your copy right now via the X-Plane.org forums.

The developer recommends the following plugins for you to get the best experience:

AutoGate Plugin

Winter Plugin

Drifting Snow Replacement
