WWII aircraft developer Khamsin Studio has released their latest project, the T-6 Texan free of charge for X-Plane.
The North American Aviation T-6 Texan is a single-engine advanced trainer used in world war II to train pilots from the US Air Force, US Navy, Royal Air Force and the Royal Canadian Air Force. Over 15,000 units were built from 1935 and the aircraft served around the world until the South African Air Force retired their fleet in 1995. The Texan is still used to teach pilots to fly civil registered military aircraft.
This rendition of the T-6 Texan includes a detailed high-quality cockpit as well as a stunningly modelled aircraft that is optimised for performance.
If you would like to get your hands on the T-6 Texan for X-Plane, you can download the latest version from the X-Plane forum. Khamsin Studios invite you to make improvements to the flight model and upload your changes to the forum, here.
