Kennedy Space Center Releases for MSFS

Developer TerraBuilder has released the Kennedy Space Center for Microsoft Flight Simulator via the in-sim Marketplace. The new scenery product includes NASA Shuttle Landing Facility Airport (KTTS), along with a range of unique features that brings the space center to life.

One of America’s most iconic sites has been recreated by TerraBuilder to include hundreds of custom 3D models, props and more. There are animated assemblies and crawler transports that really bring the scenery to life.

In terms of coverage, TerraBuilder has covered a lot. You will be able to see Launch Complex 39, the Launch Control Center, all Orbiter Processing Facility buildings, the NASA press area, and all support buildings and hangars. It’s a vast area that has been recreated, but one that is promised to be size and memory-efficient.

What is most unique to the project is that you can switch the date and year to discover 3 different space exploration eras: Apollo, Space Shuttle, and Artemis/SpaceX.

A free future expansion is already in the works which will include SpaceX launch vehicles, and also “live, on-demand rocket launches with realistic launch effects”.

They also reconfirmed their commitment to making a “SpacePort” expansion module for MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024 which will enable users to launch into space, pilot and operate spacecraft under accurate and realistic aerodynamic models.

You can buy Kennedy Space Center now from the in-sim Marketplace for $29.99.

  • Animated crawler transporter takes the rocket pad, launch tower and the rocket to one of the two launch pads.
  • In-game user control panel that lets you switch the date and year between 3 space exploration eras: Apollo, Space Shuttle and Artemis/SpaceX.
