Following the release of other critical German airports for MSFS, including Düsseldorf, Hamburg, and Stuttgart, famed developer JustSim has recently added another scenery to the bunch, this time releasing Hannover Langenhagen Airport (EDDV) for MSFS.
Hannover Langenhagen Airport (EDDV) is an international airport located close to the German city of Langenhagen, about 7nm to the North of Hannover. It mainly serves its name-sake city of Hannover and the surrounding Lower Saxony region. The airport is considered the 9th busiest airport in all of Germany by passenger count and serves as the home base to German charter carrier TUIfly.
The airport sits on the grounds of a former German military airfield and saw the commencement of commercial operations following the airfield’s restoration and expansion in 1952, with British European Airways, SAS, and Pan American World Airways the first carriers to operate in and out of the field. Interestingly, the airport served as the original grounds for the “Internationale Luft- und Raumfahrtaustellung” ILA, Germany’s most essential and renowned air venture, and, across its operational history, saw numerous visits made by Concorde.
Renowned developer JustSim has recently released its detail-rich rendition of this iconic German airport for MSFS. Although not providing a detailed feature list, the screenshots provided on the sceneries product page make it seem like this release is again set to live up to the developers’ previously set high-quality standards.
JustSim’s Hannover Langenhagen Airport (EDDV) for MSFS is now available for purchase via the simMarket online store and will set new customers back €19.89 E.x. VAT. Customers having previously purchased the developer’s P3D rendition of the airport will benefit from a discounted purchase price of €9.95 E.x. VAT. Additionally, customers of the developer’s XPL rendition of the airport will also benefit from a discounted purchase price of €12.50 E.x. VAT.
