Just as FSDreamTeam released Basel Mulhouse Freiburg Airport, JustSim stuck back on Facebook and announced their own development of the airport for Prepar3D V4. EuroAirport Basel Mulhouse Freiburg is located just over 2 miles away from Basel, Switzerland. Due to its proximity to the borders of France, Germany, and Switzerland, the airport is jointly operated by France and Switzerland, making it one of the few airport in the world operated by multiple countries. easyJet Switzerland has a base at the airport operating flights to European leisure and metropolitan destinations. Several other airlines such as Ryanair, British Airways, Air France, and KLM also operate flights to various destinations within Europe.
Not much information other than the above screenshots were released, however from what is shown, the airport has been reconstructed in great detail using PBR materials. Custom ground polys cover the entire airport and people are scattered about the front of the airport. Attention to detail can be seen both on and around the airport, hand-placed vegetation welcomes passengers around the terminal, all relevant airport buildings have been reconstructed, and the upper terrace overlooking the airport can be seen with passengers, various benches, and trashcans modeled as well. The windows do not appear to be transparent on both the main terminal and other airport buildings. JustSim did not include a release date or price, however, they did mention they only need “a few days of your patience.” It is also worth noting that JustSim also stated, “we will be ready to provide very favorable conditions for buyers of this product for MSFS 2020.” That is all the details released for now, check back to FSElite soon for more information about JustSim Basel Mulhouse Freiburg Airport as soon as it is made available.
