Shortly after JustSim released Basel Mulhouse Airport for Prepar3D V4, they have confirmed their X-Plane 11 version of the scenery will be released very soon. Over on Facebook JustSim posted a handful of screenshots from their Basel Mulhouse Airport in X-Plane 11. EuroAirport Basel Mulhouse Freiburg is located just over 2 miles away from Basel, Switzerland. Due to its proximity to the borders of France, Germany, and Switzerland, the airport is jointly operated by France and Switzerland, making it one of the few airport in the world operated by multiple countries. easyJet Switzerland has a base at the airport operating flights to European leisure and metropolitan destinations. Several other airlines such as Ryanair, British Airways, Air France, and KLM also operate flights to various destinations within Europe.
No mention of a release date or features were disclosed, we can speculate that the features will be similar to those of the Prepar3D V4 version. PBR materials can be seen covering all the buildings and ground textures around the airport. Hand placed vegetation and various scenery objects like the construction site east of runway 26 and the parking lots with numerous cars will add life to the airport. The viewing area west of runway 15-33 is modeled as well. Again, no release date was given but JustSim said the release will be very soon.
