Just Flight Shares Further Details of Their DR400 for P3D, FSX and X-Plane

Following on from lots of preview shots of the Just Flight’s latest release for FSX, P3D and X-Plane, the Robin DR400. Just Flight has listed the aircraft on their website products page.

The Robin DR400 is a four-seat wooden-built light aircraft that is capable of travelling over 900 miles at speeds of around 155 miles per hour. It is famous for its cranked wing. The DR400 has been manufactured since 1972, Robin has built 1292 airframes to date, the latest model is the DR401.

Just Flight has modelled its release on the DR400/180 Regent, a model of the aircraft that has extra cabin windows to add a better experience for the rear passengers. Just Flight built their representation on a real-world Robin from Goodwood Aerodrome of which the in house development team had access to thanks to SportAir.

The team has included realistic modelling and high clarity texturing throughout the development including PBR textures for P3D v4.4+. Lots of animations are included such as sliding canopy, luggage doors, engine exhaust, chocks and tie-downs. Just Flight has modelled the flight dynamics to be as realistic as possible. The DR400 comes with a full avionics suite that comprises of the S-Tec 55 autopilot system and the GNS 430 GPS unit. You can find a full list of items you can expect with this release, below.

Just Flight has disclosed that the aircraft will be released first for FSX and P3D very soon and then the X-Plane version will follow shortly afterwards, before Christmas. The DR400 will be available for £9.99/€12.95/$14.99 on the Just Flight website. This is a permanently low price for the community as a Just Flight thank you for the support over the last few years. We will be sure to keep you updated when you will be able to purchase the Robin DR400.
