In a brief update, Just Flight shared their first Fokker 70 & 100 development update for Microsoft Flight Simulator since the product announcement last year.
Seating up to 85 passengers, the F70 regional jet was produced by the Dutch aircraft manufacturer, Fokker, between 1992-1997. Just 48 of the type were made during its short 5-year life production, with its first flight in April 1993. The longer F100 regional jet seating up to 122 passengers, was produced between 1986-1997 with 283 aircraft being made. Many F70s and F100s still fly today, primarily in Australia and Papua New Guinea with Alliance Airlines, Air Niugini, QantasLink and Virgin Australia Regional Airlines.
Just Flight mentioned in the update that the Fokker 100 cockpit, exterior models, textures and liveries are currently undergoing extensive testing, with dynamic cockpit and exterior lighting being complete. They also mentioned that work would soon begin on the Fokker 70 variant including detailed passenger cabins for both variants.
There is still no release date or pricing for the Just Flight Fokker 70 & 100 for Microsoft Flight Simulator confirmed as of yet but make sure to stay tuned to FSElite for further updates.
