Microsoft Flight Simulator’s highly anticipated AI traffic package, FS Traffic, has finally been released by Just Flight.
FS Traffic includes a wide range of custom aircraft models the team say have been ‘designed from the ground up to exploit the enhanced visuals of Microsoft’s new simulation platform, while still providing excellent FPS/performance.’
With custom animations and visual effects, compatibility with airport jetways and ground units, and realistic sounds by Turbine Sound Studios, users can utilise the Traffic Control Centre, the main tool for viewing and modifying FS Traffic.
The add-on uses thousands of real-world commercial flight plans for aircraft routes. Users will even find that the time in the simulator will depict the real traffic volume as per their flight data covering the summer 2022 schedules, with the 2021 and 2019 summer schedules being made available as free updates after release.
Furthermore, the add-on’s Traffic Tool Centre will enable users to ‘create new flight plans, add your own aircraft liveries and even add brand-new third-party aircraft models as AI.’
Furthermore, Just Flight say their aircraft models can also be used for model matching when flying on online networks such as VATSIM or IVAO.
