Just Flight Provides Development Updates on A300, LJ45 and F70/100

Just Flight is probably the busiest they have ever been with a plethora of big aircraft projects in concurrent development. Over the years, the team has found itself in a position of delivering renowned aircraft for the community, and the hope is that the trend continues through 2025 and beyond.

Over the past week or so, Just Flight has given us plenty of updates surrounding their three big aircraft projects: the A300B Professional, the LJ45, and the F70/100. We have summarised each of their respective updates below.

A300B Professional

Just Flight has shared that the upcoming A300B4-203 Professional for Microsoft Flight Simulator, has made some major progress recently. The cockpit is now largely complete, based on the real-world aircraft F-WUAB preserved at Aeroscopia in Toulouse. The model features a detailed, worn aesthetic to reflect the aircraft’s age and service, with several configuration options planned via the EFB depending on variant. While the initial focus is on the INS-equipped A300B4-203, other avionics such as the UNS-1 FMS and TCAS VSI will also be supported.

Inside, the passenger cabin is also nearing completion, styled with a distinctly 1980s layout featuring over 200 seats. On the exterior, modelling is approximately 95% complete. The shift from the earlier P3D version to MSFS has resulted in a major overhaul of the visuals, with refined modelling and extensive retexturing. Every rivet, panel, and decal has been meticulously placed, aided by a recent revisit to the real aircraft for high-resolution reference images.

On the systems side, Just Flight has now integrated the fully coded systems suite into the MSFS version. This includes electrical, hydraulics, bleed air, flight controls, fuel systems, APU, and engines—each built with deep realism. Even individual fuel pumps have slight pressure variations to reflect real-world inconsistencies. Work continues on navigation systems such as the autopilot and INS, with more details to come in future updates.

No news on a release date, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled.

LJ45 Professional

Just Flight previewed the LJ45 at FlightSimExpo and the team has now shared even more details on the upcoming private jet.

The latest images reveal a nearly complete cockpit model featuring precise texturing, manufacturer-accurate controls, and the distinctive curved CRT displays. Artists have gone as far as sourcing original drawings for screws and rivets to ensure authenticity. While the aircraft retains a clean and modern aesthetic—befitting its role as a well-kept business jet—subtle wear and tear has been added to reflect real-world usage.

Development continues to focus on finalising the modelling and texturing, which will soon pave the way for systems coding to begin. As with other Just Flight projects, the artwork sets the foundation for the next development phase. More updates on the LJ45 Professional will follow as the aircraft edges closer to a fully functioning in-sim model.

F70/100 Professional

Finally, Just Flight shared some new information on the upcoming F70 and F100 Professional aircraft for Microsoft Flight Simulator, through a full test flight from Salzburg to Brussels. The aircraft’s cockpit, featuring a unique blend of curved CRT displays and analogue backup instruments, is now nearing completion with accurate textures, manufacturer-sourced detailing, and customisable layout options. The exterior and cabin have also seen significant refinement, with livery-dependent configurations and highly detailed modelling designed to take full advantage of MSFS 2024’s visual engine.

System development has advanced considerably, with the custom-built FMS now considered feature-complete. The suite includes real-time IRS alignment, full vertical navigation modes, and deep integration with the autopilot and EFIS systems. Checklists within the simulator feature nearly 300 steps, including logic-based testing procedures. Just Flight reports that climb performance currently reaches 95% of real-world data, and the aircraft is capable of performing Flaps 0 takeoffs—accurate to the aircraft’s real-life profile. Autoland is now functional, with dual autopilot and autothrottle integration enabling fully automated approaches.

Performance optimisation has also been a focus, with internal tests showing frame rates within 5% of default MSFS aircraft like the 747 and 787. Developers are still fine-tuning elements based on feedback from ongoing test flights, including checklist handling and engine logic. With the F70/F100 Professional shaping up to be one of Just Flight’s most technically ambitious releases, the team remains committed to delivering a polished and highly detailed regional jet experience on day one.
