Just Flight Preivews Hawk T1/A Advanced Trainer for MSFS

Just Flight has shared new detailed previews of their upcoming Hawk T1/A Advanced trainer for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

The British Aerospace (BAe) Hawk T1 is a 2-seat jet trainer from the United Kingdom which is in service with countries friendly with England all across the globe, including India, Indonesia and Saudi Arabia. First built in 1974, the Hawk T1 has not only been used for training but also in live combat, with an array of rockets, missiles, gun pods and bombs capable of being fitted to the aircraft. In addition to these roles, the BAe Hawk T1 is perhaps most notably the aircraft used by the RAF Red Arrows aerobatic display team.

Just Flight’s BAe Hawk T1/A faithfully replicates the aircraft inside and out, with both the T1 and T1A variants included in this product. Still a work in progress announced in February 2021, the external models will feature every detail of the real aircraft, including optional load outs of various weaponry that the Hawk may carry in real life. A variety of liveries, including the Red Arrows, are included with 4096×4096 PBR textures. Various animations are included ranging from tire chocks and cockpit ladders to the Ram Air Turbine (RAT) and the cockpit canopy, complete with 2 animated pilots inside. The cockpit has been done in similar detail, with HD virtual cockpit textures with realistic wear and tear and both pilot positions included. All cockpit instruments have been modeled, along with several modeled systems including the hydraulic and navigation systems. Extra panels are included for controlling ground services and weaponry. Just Flight has also replicated a realistic flight model for the Hawk T1/A, which will allow users all the thrills of buzzing around the MFS world in a nimble jet with a high roll rate, with real Hawk pilots having been involved in the tuning of the flight model.

While Just Flight has not yet set a tentative release date, users may sign up for e-mail updates from Just Flight website as to future previews, the release date, and sales.
