A new in-development page for the Just Flight PA-38 Tomahawk for Microsoft Flight Simulator has been shared by the team. These development blogs are a great way to see how progress is happening with a particular product, along with a bit of insight from the developer’s perspective.
After success with their PA-28 Arrow III and the PA-28 Warrior II for Microsoft Flight Simulator, Just Flight decided to bring the PA-38 Tomahawk to the simulator. This, like the aforementioned products, is being developed in-house based on hands-on research with a real-life Tomahawk.
In the first development update, we see an initial showcase of the visuals for inside and outside of the plane. We can see the wear and tear that comes with an older aircraft, along with the great use of material texturing on different surfaces. For example, you can see the scratches and worn-out use of the rubber-like material on the yoke. The native model and textures are confirmed to be up to 4K in resolution.
Just Flight held back on further information at this time, but the development page will no doubt be updated over the course of time with brand new information.
The PA-38 Tomahawk is a two-seater aircraft that has a 112hp four-cylinder engine that can reach speeds of up to 126mph. Its design and flexibility are ideal for touring and training flights – perfect for the world of Microsoft Flight Simulator.
We’ll be sure to follow along with updates and inform you when we learn more. To get an idea of what sort of quality we’ll get from the product, check out our review on the PA-28 Warrior II in Microsoft Flight Simulator.
