Just Flight continues to work on its A300B4 for Microsoft Flight Simulator and the team shared a new development post on their progress. This time, the team looks at the overhead panel and gives us a little insight into how development is going on the classic Airbus jet.
The team shared a range of new screenshots and highlighted how this is one of the most “complex areas” of the aircraft. This aircraft was made before overheads got a lot more simple in terms of layout and design, so it has taken some time to get right. However, Just Flight seem particularly proud of this one and wanted to show it off with some new previews.
In terms of details, Just Flight said that everything has been modelled to the highest level of detail possible. This means that when rotating the drum of a knob, any text, decals or materials will move appropriately – a far cry from when relaying on 2D textures back in the day. Furthermore, they confirmed that all text and schematics use decals to enable the best clarity regardless of settings or zoom level.
We don’t have any further information at this point, but we’ll continue to monitor progress and be sure to keep you informed. For more on Just Flight’s A300B4, you can check out the last development update that focused on the navigation area.
