Teased a few days ago, it has now been confirmed by Just Flight that they will be bringing the Piper PA28-161 Warrior II to Microsoft Flight Simulator. This will be yet another GA aircraft developed by the team and brought the simulator, following the release of the PA-28R Arrow III and the upcoming PA-28R Turbo Arrow III/IV.
The first early previews of the Warrior II in Microsoft Flight Simulator highlight the detailed external modelling, along with the cockpit which has completely 3D gauges and dials. There is a lot of dirt and grime throughout, in particular, on the radio stack which shows the age of this particular aircraft. The screenshots also show that the plane will come with animated cockpit and cargo doors.
Just Flight has confirmed that the development of the plane follows a comprehensive and extensive period of hands-on research with a real-world aircraft. Based in Conington Airfield, G-BOZI was used as the research aircraft to enable Just Flight to understand how the aircraft functions and get a good feel for how it travels in the air.
Over the coming weeks, Just Flight will continue to update the community on progress. We’ll keep you posted on all the latest.
