Just Flight continue to develop aircraft for the community. Their most recent announcement is that they are bringing the Robin DR400 to Prepar3D and FSX. The piston-engine aircraft can cruise at a smooth 130kts for several hours making it a great aircraft for sightseeing and training.
Along with the announcement of the Robin DR400, Just Flight also gave some insight into the features people can expect upon release. As usual, Just Flight are using real world aircraft to assist with the modelling and texture work of the aircraft, which have been captured from hundreds of photos. All of the textures will be rendered in 4K with PBR material (in P3Dv4.4+). As with other Just Flight aircraft, the Robin DRR400 will have a full custom-coded electrical system, spark plug fouling and functioning carburettor heat and primer controls.
No release date was mentioned, but it was confirmed that the aircraft will be coming to FSX, FSX:SE and all versions of Prepar3D. No news on whether an X-Plane or Aerofly FS 2 version will follow, but based on previous development cycles, it may be a safe bet to assume that it should happen in the future.
