As the successor of the BAe 146, it is only natural that prominent developer Just Flight brings us the Avro RJ series to MSFS too, called RJ Professional.
Manufactured by Avro International Aerospace, 170 examples of the Avro RJ were delivered between 1993 and 2003. Visually the aircraft are very similar to the popular BAe146 series, though there are some subtle differences to both the exterior and cockpit. The Avro RJ is powered by four Honeywell LF 507 turbofans, which produce slightly more power than its predecessor, making it ideal for short, regional flights in and out of small, challenging airfields.

In a short announcement, Just Flight released 3 teaser images showing us what we can expect from the product. The developer has also confirmed some of the details surrounding the release, namely that it will be for MSFS only at this stage, with an X-Plane version to come in future, once X-Plane 12 is released. There is some bad news for Prepar3D fans, Just Flight has confirmed that this product will not come to P3D.
All three variants of the RJ will be released, the RJ70, RJ85, and RJ100, with over 25 liveries being created too. These should give users a good range of flights to simulate, as the Avro RJ has a varied history having been used in the Commercial world flying both passengers and cargo, it has also seen Military service as well as performing firefighting duties in more recent times.
No release date or expected price has been provided so far, however, Just Flight has confirmed that owners of their 146 Professional will receive a discount when purchasing RJ Professional too.
