Flight Simulation continues to grow. With new simulators on the horizon, new developers and technology that is becoming even more impressive. With that in mind, we’re seeking new video content producers to join our exciting and influential team.
We’re looking for the next generation of video producers to work alongside our talents team to continue producing video reviews, first-looks and other great content. Your role will involve capturing footage, writing scripts and then editing it all together to reach our thousands of daily visitors and YouTube subscribers. Those with a creative flair will love working with our team to produce engaging videos and help continue growing the team to even greater heights.
With Microsoft Flight Simulator on the horizon, plenty of exciting events to attend and countless add-ons to explore, we’re expecting 2020 and beyond to be full of excellent opportunities.
If you already have a YouTube channel and are looking to grow, this is also a great chance for you to get involved. With our support, we will be able to help grow your channel alongside our own audience. Cross-community posts are more than welcome with our internal video producers and they have all seen great results working with us.

Role Description
- Work with Senior and Lead Video Producer to create timely video content based on current trends
- Keep to deadlines set by the Senior and Lead Video Producers
- Share video content with the community
- Capture short clips to support the Social Media specialist
- Engage with the community through video content

The Recruitment Process
For our Video Producers, our recruitment process is done in two-stages.
Stage 1 – Initial Application: Simply fill out some basic details about yourself, why you want to join the team, and also some example work (if you have any). We’ll then review those applications on an ongoing basis and then reach out to you if your application is suitable.
Stage 2 – Interview: If you are successful from Stage 1, then we’ll invite you to produce a short video telling us about yourself and also answering some pre-set questions. You will have approximately 1 week to compile footage, edit it together and send it to us. This is a great way for us to see your video production skills and work under a bit of pressure.
If we enjoy your video, you’ll be invited to join the FSElite team as a Video Content Producer
Joining the Team and Continued Development
After you’ve been successful, you will be guided through various steps to learn more about FSElite, getting involved, expectations and also be shown our internal tools to help you produce the best content. You will be paired up with another of our video producers who will assist you with producing your first content. Our Senior Video Producers will also help with providing ongoing feedback, tips for the future and give you additional skills to help you achieve the best.
After that, our whole team will continue supporting you, offering feedback and opportunities to test and try all-new products.

What Is It Like Being Part of FSElite?
Working alongside like-minded & talented content creators in the team, I have been able to share my experiences and learnings as a flight sim YouTuber. I’ve also been able to improve my skills in many different areas, such as filming, editing, and analytics to name a few. The team vibe is very friendly, enthusiastic and we all have an amazing desire to showcase and produce the best content for the flight sim community.
Over the years FSElite has provided many opportunities to create content for all different types of sceneries, aircraft, plugins, hardware through different and sims, which I have been able to use to enhance my own personal sim and content that I have created for my Aus Flight Simmer channel. In meeting and working with many third-party developers and others within the community, I have made many friendships and contacts to help further my channel.
The team really believes in giving back to the community, including us as volunteers, giving us the platforms to showcase our own content through social media and our FSElite featured YouTube community videos through the site. Flight simulation is just going from strength to strength lately and the team is very excited for the future of content creation within flight sim. We are always on the lookout to share the journey with more enthusiastic video creators. I guarantee the journey, like mine, is worth the plunge.
