Developer JATSim designs released Rand Airport (FAGM) for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
Located in Germiston, South Africa, Rand Airport first opened in 1931. It was originally Johannesburg’s main international airport and one of the most advanced in the the Southern Hemisphere at the time. Rand served as a hub for Imperial Airways and later South African Airways. After the opening of OR Tambo International in 1952, Rand Airport transitioned to general aviation. Today, the field remains active as a key center for flight training, aircraft maintenance, and airshows.
