After teasing the upcoming scenery this month on their Facebook and FSDeveloperĀ pages, and mentioning current progress with items to be worked on, scenery developer Iron Sim has released their rendition of the Greek island airport Kalymnos for Prepar3D v4/5.
Kalymnos Island National Airport (LGKY) is located a few kilometres from Pothia, the capital of Kalymnos. It is a small regional airport, that serves domestic traffic and charters such asĀ Sky Express.
Developer Iron Sim has brought the airport to the Prepar3D world, with features such as a custom photoreal area with modified mesh, island photoreal coverage with custom autogen for the nearby cities andĀ 4K textures for buildings.

Iron Sim also goes on to mention that for the scenery to properly work, you must set the Prepar3D Mesh Resolution to 5m or above, as well as have the SODE Engine installed.
