Introducing FlightLinq – An Integrated Virtual Airline Management and ACARS Platform
AviaSim has partnerd with us for our FlightSimExpo 2026 coverage. With 30+ locations and 50+ simulators across the USA, Canada, and Europe, AviaSim is the world's number one flight simulator network open to the public. Learn more about their 1:1 replicas of commercial airliner cockpits.

FlightLinq is a virtual airline management and ACARS platform designed for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, and X-Plane. Built to serve both individual pilots and virtual airlines, the platform combines flight tracking, airline administration, progression systems, and community features within a single ecosystem.

At the heart of FlightLinq is its integrated ACARS system, which enables pilots to track flights from gate to gate. Once a flight is booked, pilots can complete pre-flight preparations before launching into their simulator. During the flight, FlightLinq records operational data and automatically generates a PIREP upon completion, removing the need for manual submissions and helping virtual airlines maintain accurate records.

For individual pilots, FlightLinq also provides a detailed personal logbook. Flight history, hours flown, aircraft usage, route information, and performance statistics are all tracked over time. The platform supplements this with progression systems, achievements, and rankings that give users additional goals beyond simply completing flights.

Virtual airlines can use FlightLinq to manage much of their operation from a central dashboard. Routes, fleets, hubs, aircraft assignments, pilot rosters, ranks, and permissions can all be configured within the platform. Airline staff can review completed flights, monitor pilot performance, and manage operational requirements without relying on multiple external tools.

One of the more unique aspects of the platform is its aircraft management system. Virtual airlines can track the location, status, and health of aircraft within their fleet. Maintenance and realism options can also be enabled, allowing operators to introduce additional operational considerations into their airline.

FlightLinq also includes a variety of community-focused features. Airlines can organise group flights, tours, and events, whilst pilots can compare progress through leaderboards and achievement systems. Live maps provide visibility into ongoing operations, allowing members to see where fellow pilots are flying in real time.

The platform is designed to support a wide range of virtual airlines, from smaller community groups looking for a straightforward management solution through to larger organisations seeking more detailed operational control. By bringing flight tracking, pilot progression, fleet management, and community engagement together, FlightLinq aims to provide a comprehensive platform for virtual airline operations.

Attendees at FlightSimExpo 2026 will have the opportunity to learn more about FlightLinq, explore its feature set, and see how the platform can be used by both virtual airlines and individual pilots.
