We worked with iniSimulations back in February to bring you exclusive information of a brand new A380 in development for X-Plane 11. The simulation of the aircraft is being worked on by a relatively new team, but have shared that they have a lot of features being worked on. You can see below that progress has been made. In particular, the team has decided to share some work-in-progress texture work of various parts of the virtual cockpit.
The previews you can see represent the current status of the project. After listening to feedback from the community where they were asked if they were going to accurately represent the colour scheme, the team wanted to share that they are determined to make sure it is accurate. Note that the previews show it in a “half-baked” state and work is still being done to complete it.
Further to the texture previews, iniSimulations also shared some previews of the integrated EFB. The EFB will feature plenty of real-world functionality but also include tools to assist with your in-simulator experience.
We will continue to follow the iniSimulations team for any further progress to their A380 on X-Plane 11. You can see our original post here, which includes a short video demonstration and also renders of their external modelling.
iniSimulations is part of the iniBuild team, who create dynamic lighting and GSX profiles for a variety of airports. You can check out that work here, also.
