A month ago, iniSimulations released the A310-300 ON THE LINE for X-Plane 11 and have since been busy developing the free MRTT extension for the product. Whilst we have seen some images of the product in the past, the team have given us a deeper look at the upcoming aircraft.
In the 22-minute flight, we’re given a brief history on the MRTT and why it’s important in the world of aviation. Following that, we’re given an extensive overview on the exterior and interior changes designed specifically for this variant, before then having a complete rundown of how air-to-air fueling works. The video is a great introduction to how the aircraft works as well as some of the features included. This includes a look at the moving MK32 pods that extend out of the aircraft, the dynamic traffic light system on the pods and also the various indicators within the cockpit.
Just as with the original A310 release from iniSimulations, the MRTT add-on will come with 4K texturing, accurate flight dynamics and numerous other features.
Whilst no release date was shared, it is worth remembering that this will be a free extension to the A310-300 ON THE LINE and all existing owners will be able to get their hands on this very soon at no extra charge.
