iniBuilds, the team behind Heathrow Airport for MSFS, has shared a brief development update on their forums.
The first part of their post focused on the aforementioned airport product. Their current rendition of Heathrow Airport (EGLL) is being improved and a free update is on the way. In that update, the team is focusing on performance, night lighting and more details on the road markings. However, if you want to have input on what you’d like to see from the airport, you can leave a comment on their forum.
Sadly, the previously announced Prepar3D and X-Plane versions of Heathrow will no longer be happening at this time. Things may change and if they do, iniScene will let us know.
Another airport released by iniScene lately was Buffalo Niagara (KBUF) will be coming to X-Plane 11. After a successful release on MSFS, the team are pleased to bring it to X-Plane 11, but no details were shared at this time.
Finally, iniScene gave us a look at San Antonio Airport (KSAT) for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The team are treating the airport as a labour of love with some new features coming to the airport product. iniScene said, “not only will this scenery be some of our best work visually, but will also have some details not seen before in some of our other products. A true commitment to always taking our products to the next level – allowing us to provide you with some of the best products on the market.”
There are also other scenery projects in development, but nothing specific was mentioned. However, a teaser was shared that will excite helicopter pilots in the community.
For those waiting on updates about aircraft, we’ll have to wait a bit longer for now. More information will be coming in the future.
