iniBuilds has released version 1.0.2 of its TriStar Airliner for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, bringing with it a number of changes and updates since its release a few weeks ago.
The latest update introduces a handful of new features, including weather radar brightness control, a flight recorder trip date function, and additional quality of life improvements to the Performance Flight Bag, such as OFP re-download capability and automatic brightness adjustments. Visual enhancements have also been made, with new engine startup smoke effects and refinements to cockpit elements and lighting.
A large portion of the update addresses a wide range of system fixes and flight model refinements. iniBuilds has improved autopilot and VNAV behaviour, corrected inconsistencies with altitude capture and climb modes, and resolved issues with speed control and crosswind compensation. Numerous aircraft systems have also been corrected, including fuel, pneumatic, anti-ice, and hydraulic logic, alongside fixes to the INS, ILS, and flight director reliability.
On the visual side, the update reduces VRAM usage for improved performance on lower-end systems, while also fixing a number of animation and lighting issues across the cockpit and exterior model. Sound improvements have also been included, addressing missing warning alerts and resolving audio dropouts when switching camera views.
The new update is now available via the in-sim Marketplace, where you can also purchase the plane if you haven’t done so already. It will eventually be released via the iniManger as a later date.
