iniBuilds has updated its A350 Airliner to include the HUD, improved engine animations, fixed sound effects, and also news on when Xbox users will finally be able to fly the aircraft.
Starting with the HUD, iniBuilds has developed a fully functional Heads-Up Display for the aircraft. It features accurate FMA display, including AP, FD, A/THR & BTV, and the correct symbology for speed, altitude, and vertical speed. Furthermore, it has declutter logic depending on the phase of flight, plus a crosswind mode. It’s completely optional via the OIS equipment page.

Improved Exterior Modelling and Textures
Another key change with version 1.1.1 of the A350 Airliner is the new engine animation improvement. The video below gives you a great idea of how the engine start-up spool is now integrated.
Further changes to the exterior include visible window blinds from the cabin, tweaks to the metal material rendering and new weathering effects in MSFS 2024 that now include dents, taped areas on wings, and more visible wear and tear.

Other Improvements to Systems Logic and ECAM Memo
The hydraulic system logic governing flap behaviour has received a complete overhaul. Previously, the outer flaps failed to extend during hydraulic failures despite being indicated on the systems display. This has now been corrected, with both inner and outer flap animations following real-world logic. Asymmetry is now accurately modelled, including fault simulation via the OIS Failures page, with ECAM warnings reflecting differences in flap position. Additionally, outer flaps now correctly rely on the ADBG system during hydraulic loss.
Separately, feedback on ECAM Memo formatting has been acknowledged. While some improvements have been made using community input, certain elements—such as layout and item inclusion—are intentionally based on a specific airline configuration. This mirrors the MSN and software version that the development team used as a reference.
Xbox Version Coming Next Week
Good news for those of you waiting to fly the A350 Airliner on Xbox. iniBuilds has confirmed that next week, the plan is for the A350 to be released in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 for Xbox users. The Xbox build will feature the ULR variant of the A350, but the HUD will come in a future update.
iniBuilds confirmed that the Xbox users with MSFS 2020 will need to continue to wait as it’s still not quite in a “releasable state”. There are some platform-specific issues they are working on and will continue to work on a solution.
