iniBuilds has released their first major update to the recently released A380 addon for Microsoft Flight Simulator, and owners can install it now via the MSFS Marketplace.
The update focusses entirely on fixing minor bugs and artwork issues, with nothing new making the feature list.
The one exception to this was an addition of new diagnostic reporting measures. Following installation, users will be given the option to enable WASM crash reporting, which will automatically send a diagnostic log report to iniBuilds whenever a WASM crash it detected on the aircraft; no manual input from the user is required.
iniBuilds stressed in their blog post covering the update that no personal data is collected as part of the logs, so iniBuilds can’t link your log file back to you or any individual sim session. The diagnostic log is also encrypted prior to being sent, meaning only iniBuilds can view the data. The purpose of this is entirely to help iniBuilds understand and mitigate common causes of WASM crashes, though this new reporting is entirely optional.
Beyond this, the remainder of the update is composed of a long list of bug fixes, systems improvements and art updates.
