iniBuilds has shared its latest trailer for Hong Kong International Airport. The new trailer, just under 2.5 minutes long, showcases the modelling, texture work, and the overall experience simmers can expect when the airport releases.
According to iniBuilds, the project ranks among its most ambitious to date, drawing comparisons to their previous work at Dallas Fort Worth in terms of scale and complexity. The unique island setting and dense surrounding cityscape have allowed the team to further refine its development pipeline while applying lessons learned from past large hub releases.
To help bring Hong Kong to life with a high level of accuracy, the team conducted an on-site visit, capturing extensive photo and video references across both landside and airside areas. Details such as terminal façades, interior layouts, taxiway markings, stand equipment, and surface wear were all carefully documented to support development. For some at iniBuilds, HKIA is more than just another hub, with past experience as pilots and ground staff helping to shape everything from building placement and interior modelling to ground detailing, lighting, and signage.
No release date has been shared at this point. We will keep you posted.
