A brand new 3-minute trailer for the iniBuilds A350 has just been released, along with some exciting new development updates on the plane.
The trailer itself gives us the biggest insight yet into the upcoming aircraft by iniBuilds. We see the detailed 3D cabin and cabin announcement system, the external modelling, along with plenty of systems functionality. Expect to see brake to vacate, ABEAM and offset simulation, GPS jamming, a custom terrain radar, and much more.
iniBuilds also previewed the all-new iniBuilds ‘Situation Manager’, along with a comprehensive FAP (flight attendant panel) and the maintenance simulation. Overall, this looks to be a complete experience for the A350 and by far the most complete rendition of the plane so far released for any sim.
In the forum post, iniBuilds detailed some of the electrical and system simulations which will be included. This includes information on how over 80 electrical busses are modelled, the use of dynamic load computation and how there are actual battery options to choose from which impact the amp-hour capacity. iniBuilds says this is swappable via the EFB and there are other similarly detailed options available to choose from.
iniBuilds has also re-evaluated their decision to make the A350 MSFS 2024 only and will be bringing it to both Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. Upon release, both the A350-900 and the A350-1000 will be available, with the ULR coming as a free update further down the line. All of this will be part of a single purchase.
Finally, whilst iniBuilds originally hoped for a 2024 release, they did clarify that they would delay the release until they felt it was ready. Now, it is expected that the A350 for MSFS and MSFS 2024 will release in Q1 of 2025. More details about the plane will be shared during the wait, giving us more detail on the systems and functionality of the long-hauler from Airbus.
