After announcing the aircraft just last week, iniBuilds has released the Impulse 100 Pocket Rocket for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024. The Pocket Rocket is a single-engine, experimental aircraft featuring a 450 shp Allison turbine engine and lightweight, carbon-honeycomb composite construction. This combination gives the aircraft a thrust-to-weight ratio rarely seen in a two-seat, propeller-driven aircraft, resulting in performance that lives up to the name, “Pocket Rocket”.
iniBuilds says that the Impulse 100 Pocket Rocket has been “designed with careful attention to detail” and features flight dynamics custom-developed to replicate the agility and performance of the real aircraft. The add-on also features a highly accurate 3D model with detailed animations, a realistic electrical and fuel system with functional circuit breakers, and a custom engine model that accurately simulates turbine engine behavior, including hot starts and failures. Inside the cockpit, the Pocket Rocket incorporates WorkingTitle’s G1000 NXi avionics suite with custom engine and system pages, and full annunciation support.

As we previously covered, iniBuilds has stated that it is only the publisher of the aircraft. The aircraft’s developer remains unnamed, with iniBuilds only stating that the Impulse 100 Pocket Rocket has been created by “industry veterans”.
The Impulse 100 Pocket Rocket is available for both MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024 and can be purchased from the iniBuilds Store for £11.99 (plus local tax).
