The final day of the iniBuilds Summer Surprises event concludes with the release of Honolulu Airport (PHNL). The airport is officially known as Daniel K. Inouye International Airport but is often called Honolulu International Airport.
This hugely popular destination serves as the main gateway to the Hawaiian islands, with frequent flights to the US, Asia and Oceania. The airport has several long runways capable of handling all aircraft types. There are plenty of airliner and cargo operations too, allowing for simmers to choose what type of flying they do with Honolulu Airport. Airlines that regularly fly there include Hawaiian Airlines, ANA, Southwest and United.

As with other iniBuilds airports, this comes packed with features. This includes completely custom-made models all detailed with high-resolution PBR textures. There’s plenty of ground clutter, realistic night lighting, and other finer details that make this a realistic-looking rendition. There are also plenty of landside details, along with interior modelling. Parallax interiors have been used to create the look of interior modelling with minimal impact on performance. Of course, you can use the iniManager to adjust preferences to get the most optimal performance possible.
10% Goes back into Relief Efforts
For the first month of release, iniBuilds has said that 10% of all revenue generated from sales of Honolulu Airport will go to the American Red Cross for the Hawaii Wildfire crisis. They said, “10% of all revenue in the first month, will be going to the American Red Cross for the Hawaii Wildfire crises that have affected thousands of people. Like the Turkey Earthquake disaster, at iniBuilds, we want to support humanitarian efforts as much as we can around the world and do our part for society beyond flight simulation.”

You can now buy iniBuilds’ Honolulu Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator for £19.99 (excluding taxes) directly from their store. No doubt it will come to the MSFS Marketplace in the near future.
