iniBuilds has released Addis Ababa Bole International Airport (HAAB) for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
Located in Ethiopia’s capital, the airport sits more than 7,600 feet above sea level and is home to Ethiopian Airlines. Its network makes it a useful destination for regional flights across Africa, alongside longer services to Europe, Asia and the Americas.
For its recreation, iniBuilds conducted a dedicated reference trip and used hundreds of photographs taken at the airport. The scenery includes detailed terminal interiors and exteriors, custom airport equipment and surrounding infrastructure. Bespoke ground textures cover the runways, aprons, roads and pathways, whilst dynamic lighting and custom taxiway signs add further detail.
The airport layout reflects its real-world configuration as of 2026. An official GSX profile is also included, with iniManager integration providing configuration options. iniBuilds says the scenery uses the latest MSFS 2024 SDK features and optimised model LODs to help with performance.
