Last week, iniBuilds announced the release of version 1.0.10 for its A300-600R on their forum. This latest update focuses on improving the autoflight systems, FMS accuracy, and cockpit functionality of the aircraft.
The most significant changes in version 1.0.10 deal with the autoflight and Flight Management System (FMS). The update introduces more accurate climb and descent mode logic and ensures speed selections and modes operate as expected when transitioning between different flight phases. Pilots will also notice FCU improvements when switching between managed and selected vertical speed modes.
On the FMS side, Green dot, S, and F speed calculations will now appear during the approach phase when operating in pounds. In addition, connections with SayIntentions have been restored with a fix to the CPDLC log-on functionality. Finally, those flying with an external MCDU will benefit from improved formatting on the STAR and MODE pages.
Beyond the system improvements, the A300 also received several visual upgrades throughout the aircraft. Most notably, readability issues affecting the oxygen gauge indicators have been resolved, the cabin and cockpit windows will now include their respective missing rain effects, and pilots will no longer randomly spawn outside of the cockpit. Several smaller fixes address reflection issues, cargo door animations, and various level-of-detail issues.
iniBuilds also took this time to address various audio bugs. The passenger variant now features the proper landing and rollout sounds. Across all variants, the bass of the pack cabin sounds has been adjusted, along with the engine audio mix during the climb and cruise phases.
The version 1.0.10 update is now available for download through the iniManager. New customers can purchase the A300-600R Premium Edition through the iniBuilds website for $51.16.
