iniBuilds Gatwick Airport Close to Release, Fresh Details and Trailer

See how the airport is progressing with these new screenshots and trailer.

Gatwick Airport (EGKK) from iniBuilds on Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is nearly here. A new email from the team at iniBuilds has confirmed that the airport is close and that the NDA for content creators has been lifted. You can also enjoy the new trailer above.

The airport itself is London’s second busiest and a key hub for many airlines serving the south of the UK. easyJet, British Airways, Norse, and many others call Gatwick a primary hub, all that help serve the 200+ destinations from the airport. More than 50 airlines frequent the airport, meaning there’s lots of reasons to discover Gatwick Airport.

iniBuilds has included hand-made textures, bespoke signage, detailed airport buildings and models, along with an up-to-date layout. They have made more than 180 custom models for buildings, vehicles and objects and we see plenty of details inside the terminal as well. iniBuilds has used the latest SDK features and LOD optimisation for each model to ensure the best possible performance in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. A GSX profile is included and downloadable from the iniManager.

There is no specific release date mentioned in the latest information, but we can tell you that the airport will cost £21.99 (excluding VAT). Once we know when the airport is releasing, we’ll let you know. Finally, iniBuilds are pleased to celebrate a new partnership with music creator Sternn, who provided the score for Gatwick Airport’s trailer. Sternn will be working with iniBuilds on producing soundtracks for upcoming trailers for them and close partner products. Here’s what they had to say:

Hey, I’m Sternn! I am a multi-genre artist that primarily produces “Wave” & “EDM” . My introduction to producing began through the mentorship of Jason Rich, an early gen soundcloud legend, RIAA certified multi gold record producer, and long time executive producer for Yung Gravy. I started producing a genre known as “Phonk” a subgenre of hip hop and trap music directly inspired by 1990s Memphis rap. I eventually moved onto “Wave” where I found my commercial success with partnering with artists such as onte and Desolent After the release of “Dreams & Sorrows” I decided to dabble in new genres such as Tropical/Progressive house and 2000’S Y2K Trance. I love collaborating with other artists and producing genres that are a little more difficult such as EDM, as it was all I listened to growing up. I love experimenting with new genres and finding a way to splice my signature sound into existing genres!
