iniBuilds Development Update – Beluga, iniManager and More

02 Oct 2021 11:09z

Whilst the news of the A310-300 ON THE LINE coming to Microsoft Flight Simulator is exciting, there’s still plenty coming from the iniBuilds team for X-Plane 11. This includes the update coming to the Beluga, A300 and also some brief news on X-Plane 12 development.

Starting with X-Plane 12, Ubaid said that the team right now has no position or anything to say on the platform. Without a beta build to test or try things, it’s impossible for the team to comment at this time.

The new BelugaST update is coming along nicely and some new images showing off the new cargo models were shared on the forum post. Along with the new cargo pieces, the update will also enhance the CPDLC and auto-enable the experimental flight model that promises to be an improved flying experience.

As for the A300 ON THE LINE, the team is hard at work on a free update for the aircraft that will include many improvements and enhancements. We’ve shared the news on those improvements before, which you can read all about. There’s no progress to report at this point in time, but things are expected to be showcased in the next few weeks.

All of these updates will be made accessible via the upcoming iniManager. It was announced a few weeks ago, but the team have confirmed it will be out later this month. A short trailer for the features included was shared during the week, which you can watch below.

Finally, work on Queenstown Airport (NZQN) for X-Plane 11 is well underway and that it is expected to release later this year. You can read more about the Microsoft Flight Simulator version here. In other iniScene news, work continues on Beauvais (LFOB). Lastly from iniScene, a new international airport in the USA is also expected to be announced at the end of the month.

This particular forum post did conclude with the news that the A310-300 ON THE LINE is coming to Microsoft Flight Simulator, but you can read that in our dedicated post.
