iniBuilds Confirms A380 to be ‘Feature Complete’ Day 1 and More iniBuilds Airports to Get Dual Jetways by December

iniBuilds CEO Ubaid recently sat down with FSElite in an extended interview to talk about all things A220, A380, Chicago O’Hare (KORD) and the future of flight simulation. During the interview, we found out some brand new snippets of information that may get some of the flight simulation community pretty excited.

A380 Airliner Feature Complete Day 1

The A380 Airliner from iniBuilds is their most ambitious and most beloved project yet. The first-ever plane announced by the team many years ago has gone through many phases in order to finally be achieved in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.

When speaking about the aircraft, Ubaid said that, unlike their previous aircraft, the A380 will release with all features and functionality from day 1. Updates will still come in the form of bug fixes or quality-of-life improvements based on community feedback, but major items will be available from release.

Whilst this is the goal, Ubaid did caveat by saying that should the community request something interesting, or new opportunities arise, then the team will look to implement it into the aircraft. So don’t mistake this as a one-and-done release, but instead take this as a sign that iniBuilds have a lot of confidence in the A380 to be a great aircraft upon release. We also have firm confirmation that the A380 will release after the Synaptic x iniBuilds A220.

There’s a A350 ‘V2’ On Its Way

Another snippet that caught our attention is how iniBuilds will bring all-new functionality and features from the A380 to the A350. It is currently being dubbed as a ‘v2’ update, and will focus on stability, performance, and new features developed for the double-decker plane.

Ubaid did not give a timeframe during our interview, but we suspect it will be after the A380 has been officially released.

More Multi-Jetways to Come to More Airports

With Chicago releasing very soon, we had to ask more about the multi-jetway system. This has been a hugely popular request from the community, and iniBuilds have stepped up to deliver for their airports.

When asked, Ubaid confirmed this technology will be backported to airports where it makes sense by the end of the year. An example given was their recently released Hong Kong (VHHH) Airport. Furthermore, Ubaid confirmed that the team is open to other developers implementing this tech in their own scenery and confirmed that third-party aircraft developers can also utilise the multi-jetways with just a few tweaks.
