After a set of initial teaser images were shared with the community several weeks ago, iniBuilds have today announced that they are working on Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta Airport (HKJK) for Microsoft Flight Simulator, with the addon touted to be ‘coming soon’.
The news, which was announced on iniBuilds’ forum and social channels earlier today, came along with further preview screenshots from the airport’s land and air sides, as well as a feature list – though no release date for now.
The feature list includes:
- Hand-made ground textures with crisp, bespoke texture sets (Runways, aprons, paths, roads)
- True-to-life airport landside recreation with custom ground decals, signposts, vegetation, parking barriers, and more
- Accurately modeled and positioned dynamic airport lighting
- Highly detailed models of all airport buildings, objects, and surroundings
- Up-to-date airport layout reflecting the current, real-world location
- Official GSX Profile included in the scenery folder
- Level of Detail (LOD) optimization for every model to encourage the best performance possible
- Use of the latest MSFS SDK features to allow for the best optimization and performance possible
- Full iniManager compatibility to configure your scenery for the best possible performance for your system
- Bespoke taxi signage as it is in the real world
iniBuilds round off their announcement by saying that they are “aiming to release this soon”. FSElite will keep you informed when the scenery does drop.
