iniBuilds has announced a surprise new scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. This project has been developed in partnership with the airport authority itself, as well as Flight Simulation Association, the Rhode Island Convention Center, and Go PVD. This collaborative effort has allowed iniBuilds to capture an impressive amount of detail in this recreation.
Providence Airport (KPVD)
iniBuilds were given access to the whole airport in order to recreate Providence Airport in its entirety. Members of the team visited the airport and were escorted by members of the airport’s team to guide them through airside and landside areas. They were able to capture reference data from the terminals, apron areas, and much more. This gave them accurate measurements and information to recreate every detail in the airport.
Expect incredibly detailed interior modelling and plenty of airside accuracy that replicates the airport. Furthermore, there are other details like dirt, ground markings, and vehicles that are faithful to the airport.
The forum post gives you more detail and insight from behind the scenes.

Further to the airport, there has been extensive work on local restaurants, garages, and much more.
Rhode Island Convention Centre + FlightSimExpo 2025
In addition to the airport, iniBuilds has also modelled the Rhode Island Convention Centre, complete with local amenities and surroundings. What’s more, the team has also included a full interior of the floor plan for FlightSimExpo 2025, including all the exhibitor’s found on the show floor.
This is truly a first and a great way to virtually explore the show ahead of time, giving you the chance to see who will be present on the show floor. There is even a sneak peek at the fact that attendees could be able to fly the Synaptic A220 at the show.

iniBuilds has yet to give a release date for the product, but we anticipate that this will be out before FlightSimExpo 2025, which is being held in Rhode Island from June 27th-29th 2025. You can get your tickets for the show here.
