iniBuilds has announced the upcoming release of the Impulse 100 “Pocket Rocket” for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024. This compact, turbine-powered aircraft is designed to deliver a high-performance flying experience with plenty of system depth and visual detail.
Powered by an Allison 250-C20R turbine engine, the aircraft will simulate realistic behaviour such as hot starts, ITT peaks on startup, torque exceedances, and associated failure conditions. The flight model has been tuned to provide fast, agile handling, making it suitable for low-level and high-energy flying.
The 3D model features 4K PBR textures, fully animated cockpit and exterior parts, and six custom liveries with matching interiors. Visual effects such as icing, rain, exhaust heat, smoke, and custom lighting will further enhance immersion.
For clarity, iniBuilds are not the developers, but are publishing the plane. The exact developer is not known, but we’ve been told it has been created by “industry veterans”.
