Developer iniBuilds have revealed they are working on Doha’s Hamad International Airport (ICAO: OTHH) for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
The large airport in Qatar’s capital city, which features two runways at well-over 4000m long, will be released as a ‘premium product’ which iniBuilds say ‘will include those premium features you expect to see’.

Announced via their April 2025 scenery update announcement, the team say they have been wanting to work on Hamad International airport for a while, but held off doing so due to the amount of construction work taking place in real life.
The home of international carrier Qatar Airways in the Middle East, Hamad International has recently completed a number of extension works, including two new concourses at the end of the passenger terminal.
The team write, ‘we’ve been wanting to do this one for a while, however there’s been lots of construction which has made it difficult to ensure we get it right. With this construction now getting to the point where we can accurately see what is being worked on, it has allowed us to get the references we need!’
Among the teaser images shared in the update, we can see a Qatar Airways Cargo facility, the VIP Emiri Terminal and also Hamad’s distinctive air traffic control tower.
