Update 14-Feb-2025 @ 21:45z: The official video from iniBuilds in full quality is now live on YouTube. We have included it above.

During today’s live stream from iniBuilds, we learned some brand-new and key details surrounding the anticipated A350 coming from them for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.

During the stream, Ubaid, Matt, Cameron, and Mike all took turns showcasing more of the plane, including the liveries, the cabin, night lighting, new visual effects and a whole lot more. They began the stream by detailing how they captured colours and other visualisations and then brought them into the sim. This is based on feedback surrounding the PFD’s colours. The team take many reference pictures and all kinds of settings on a user’s end may interpret the colours differently. But the team uses accurate data to bring them to the simulator.

We then saw how the ‘Situation’ system will work with the iniBuilds A350, specifically a bird strike scenario. So not only will we see the impact from a systems perspective, but also visual damage on the exterior. iniBuilds also detailed it will feature a full configurator akin to other addons that will allow you to adjust winglet type, the WiFi bubble and more.

As for liveries, we’ll get a full list ahead of the release, but iniBuilds did say that default liveries will come with custom cabins. Speaking of cabins, we got a full tour of the A350 cabin. It will only be available for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 (due to how the LODs are modelled and taken into account for performance), but it is impressively detailed. You can peak into flight deck and cabin crew rest areas, and make use of the Flight Attendant Panel (FAP) to monitor doors, waste & water, cabin temperate, and more.

We also saw some more details on the exterior modelling, including integrated inlet condensation and vortices effects without the need of additional add-ons. iniBuilds also gave us a preview of how the airframe itself will shake and move throughout flight based on realistic physics.

Towards the end of the stream, iniBuilds revealed that they aim to release the A350 in the final week of the month and for a price of £59.99 (excluding taxes). This will include the A350-900 and the A350-1000 for both MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024. A free update is planned for the future which will bring with it the -900ULR.

As always stay tuned with us for more on the A350 coming soon. We are expecting a detailed FAQ and more from iniBuilds in the coming weeks in the countdown to release at the end of this month.

As with the previous video, this one isn’t available as a VOD, but hopefully, an abridged version will be soon.
