Over on their Facebook page, IndiaFoxtEcho Visual Simulations hs released their latest aircraft, the Douglas TA-4 Skyhawk, commonly known as the scooter, for P3D V4.4+.
The Douglas TA-4 Skyhawk first flew in 1954 and saw service with the US Navy, Israeli Airforce until as late as 2015 and also in the Argentine Airforce, where the type is still in service.
The Skyhawk is a single engine, delta-winged ground attack aircraft with five hardpoints to mount missiles bombs and other munitions. The TA-4 is the trainer variant of the popular aircraft and the chosen model by IndiaFoxtEcho.
IndiaFoxtEcho has modelled the aircraft with great detail to include customisable loading; both front and rear position virtual cockpit; extensive PBR texturing and 14 detailed liveries.
The TA-4 comes with Tacpac support including compatibility with Tacpac carrier and SWS carrier Environment X. Tacpac is required for weapon functionality.
This release is only compatible with P3Dv4.4 and above, this is due to the use of PBR textures and therefore will not work with previous versions. IndiaFoxtEcho have made it clear that they will not be providing refunds for that reason.
You can purchase the TA-4 Skyhawk from the SimMarket website for $33.29/£26.76/€28.80 (ex VAT).
