In a surprise announcement from Indiafoxtecho, the team has confirmed that a Panavia Tornado for Microsoft Flight Simulator is in development.
The team did tease it a short while ago with the unmistakable nozzle of the RB199, but now it’s been confirmed alongside a bunch of screenshots. These are ‘preliminary’ screenshots, but still give a good indication of how things are going.
Indiafoxtecho said that they are aiming to have a flight model which is realistic along with “reasonably accurate” systems. With the team having good documentation on the legacy IDS and the IDS-MLU model, this shouldn’t be a problem. There is also the possibility that the GR1, ECR and the AVD variant will also be made. This is dependent on available resources.
There’s plenty of work to do on the product so don’t expect any release info any time soon.
