Impulse Simulations is Working on Canberra Airport for MSFS

Scenery developer Impulse Simulations has taken to Facebook to confirm that they are working on Canberra Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

The team were originally working on Darwin Airport for the simulator but has run into some issues with that particular product. As a result, they are instead using the time to focus on another Australian airport. That airport is Canberra Airport (YSCB).

Located in the capital of Australia, Canberra Airport has numerous domestic routes to cities such as Sydney, Perth, Cairns, Brisbane and Hobart, whilst also serving a handful of international destinations. QantasLink is the airport’s biggest airline, whilst Virgin Australia also has a large presence at the international airport. Before the pandemic, the airport saw over 3 million passengers a year.

There’s no release date or timeframe from Impulse Simulations, but the team did leave a single render to help give an idea of what to expect when the time comes. Check out their Facebook page to stay up-to-date.
