After a small teaser last week, Immersive Audio has updated their 737NG CFM Immersion Soundpack V2 with a free update. The new free update includes full support for the PMDG NGXu sound engine and also some adjustments to various other sound effects.
The new build uses the PMDG NGXu built-in sound engine for a more immersive experience. This means that depending on the altitude your aircraft is at, you will hear the sound levels change. As demonstrated in the video, the higher your altitude, the less you will be able to hear the engine noises. The video above gives you just a flavour of what to expect. In addition, the sound for the external APU, fuel and hydraulic pumps have also been adjusted.
The update is ready to download now for previous owners, but if you have yet to purchase, you can do so from simMarket for €10.80.
