When the PMDG 737 NGXu was released, many quickly wanted to know whether the impressive Immersive Audio soundpack was compatible. Sadly, it was not, but the team were quick to assure fans that a new version would be coming soon to make people happy. The team at Immersive Audio has now said that a release is not far away and gave us a preview of what to expect from the new soundpack.
The previews (on SoundCloud) are just a small preview of what to expect from the engine sound package. During the 3-minute preview, there is a preview of entering the runway (00:00), taking off (01:00) and also the initial climb (02:25). The sound of the engine has been deliberately raised for demonstration purposes.
The release of the 737NG CFM Immersion Soundpack V2, which is also NGXu compatible, is due in the next 72-hours. Once we have firm details, we’ll be sure to let you know.
