After a small initial delay, Imaginesim has shared a wealth of new previews for their upcoming free Atlanta update. The new preview images show off the large apron areas of Atlanta Airport (KATL), along with dynamic lighting and the updated ground textures.
As a reminder of what users can expect in this update; there will be changes to the North and South terminal passenger drop-off zone canopies, changes to the taxi system and also Concourse E. In addition, the team will also use the SWS animations module found at Singapore (WSSS) as well as other unconfirmed features. Some features such as 4K texturing or remodelling of multiple buildings are not within the scope of the free update.
Finally, the team also shared the new configuration tool which will be included upon release. This confirms the use of PBR texturing, SODE jetways, and a range of other features to be included in this free update.
