Developer Imaginesim has released its long-awaited Dallas Fort Worth (KDFW) Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.
Imaginesim’s DFW has been no small undertaking. The airport is the second-largest airport by land area and the second-busiest airport in terms of passenger volume in the United States. DFW is also the home and primary hub for the major US airline, American Airlines. As of Spring 2025, the airport provides service to 264 destinations through 31 different scheduled passenger airlines.
Imaginesim has gone all out with features for the vast airport, including ensuring all seven runways are detailed and accurate. All the terminals are present (including a construction site for the sixth), along with the cargo facilities, bespoke jetways, and other outer buildings. Despite all the buildings and taxiways, Imaginesim says that they have done a huge amount of optimisation to ensure a low impact on the simulator’s performance. In the future, the Skylin train animation will also come as a free update.

You can buy your copy from the Imaginesim store for £24.99. A Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 version will be made available for those who buy the 2020 version at no additional cost when it’s ready.
