iFly Schedules Releases New EFB App

iFly Schedules has announced the release of its brand-new Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) for Microsoft Flight Simulator, marking the latest evolution of the increasingly popular airline operations and career platform.

Originally launched as a route and schedule generation tool, iFly Schedules has steadily expanded its feature set over the past two years. The addition of Career Mode, flight tracking, in-flight entertainment features, and airline management tools has transformed it into a comprehensive virtual airline companion. The new EFB represents the platform’s most ambitious feature yet.

Designed as a standalone application compatible with both Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024, the EFB delivers an iPad-style interface packed with more than 17 integrated applications. Users can access SimBrief operational flight plans, Navigraph Charts, live weather information, airport data, flight tracking tools, and VATSIM traffic information from a single environment.

One of the standout features is the inclusion of GSX integration. Through a dedicated control panel, users can monitor passenger boarding, baggage loading, cargo operations, and ground service activities while also triggering services such as catering, refuelling, pushback, and de-icing directly from within the EFB.

The platform also includes a moving map with route overlays, airport information, METAR and TAF weather data, briefing tools, calendar functionality, Discord integration, Flightradar24 access, and even support for third-party tools such as the Fenix EFB.

Shortly after launch, the EFB received its first update, introducing Wi-Fi streaming support. This allows users to access the EFB remotely on devices connected to the same network, including real-world tablets such as iPads, effectively turning them into dedicated flight simulation companions. Additional applications, including GSX Controls.

The iFly EFB is available now as part of the Premium iFly Schedules subscription, which is priced at $6 per month or $55 per year. Existing Premium subscribers can access the feature immediately.
