The latest element of the highly anticipated Boeing 737 MAX8 to be teased by iFly is of the external model of the single-aisle jet.
The aircraft, which is on its way to Microsoft Flight Simulator, has had its cockpit and cabin previewed recently, but this time the team have posted a few images of the aircraft’s exterior. In a post on their newly established Discord channel, the team wrote, “Here are some first pics of the model that just came in. Note that these are still preliminary, but we are far enough to start showing.”
The Boeing 737 MAX8 is the result of a modernisation of the well-established 737 family of aircraft by Boeing, with the variant entering service in 2017. Powered by LEAP-1B engines from CFM International, the MAX8 has a range of approximately 3,500 nautical miles.
No official release date has been announced by iFly, but it’s clear to see that anticipation is building within the sim community in preparation for the arrival of the 737 MAX8.
