Aircraft developer has released their 747-8 add-on for existing owners of their 747-400 product. The new add-on, published by Flight1 is part of service pack 3 of the original product which also adds a bunch of new features too.
The free service packs includes the newest of the 747 fleet – the 747-8. iFly have worked to model some of the more interesting features of the aircraft including the integrated approach navigation, the required navigation performance / Actual navigation performance and the Vertical Simulation Display. Further to this, the team has modeled a detailed Airport Map Display, so users can taxi the aircraft around their favourite airports with the taxiways and runways displayed to assist them.
The service pack (SP) itself includes LNAV and VNAV refinements for the 747-400.
The service pack is available for users of the FS2004, FSX and Prepar3D versions of the plane. It’s important to note that the 747-8 model is only available in FSX versions and above.
